Husain Sarhan brings more than four decades of leadership experience across banking, treasury management, and financial institution development.

Throughout his career, he has held senior executive positions including Chief Executive Officer, Deputy Chief Executive Officer, Senior Vice President, and Head of Treasury within leading financial institutions across the Gulf region. He has played a key role in the establishment, development, and strategic leadership of banking and financial organizations, contributing to their growth, governance, and long-term success.

His experience spans corporate banking, treasury management, investment activities, institutional governance, and financial strategy. Over the years, he has worked closely with regulators, government entities, financial institutions, and private sector stakeholders, building a reputation for disciplined leadership and sound institutional management.

Assem Sarhan is responsible for the strategic direction, business development, and operational leadership of Horizon Consultancy.

An entrepreneur and business executive, Assem has spent more than a decade founding, managing, and developing businesses across Germany and the Gulf region. His experience spans consulting, retail, e-commerce, food services, international trade, and corporate management, providing him with a practical understanding of business growth, operational execution, and strategic development.

As Managing Director of Sarhan Enterprises GmbH, he has led company formation initiatives, commercial partnerships, operational planning, and cross-border business activities. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with investors, suppliers, service providers, and business stakeholders across multiple industries, combining entrepreneurial thinking with disciplined execution.

Assem holds a Master's Degree in Entrepreneurship from SRH University Berlin and brings a hands-on leadership style shaped by real-world business experience. His focus is centered on building strategic relationships, identifying sustainable growth opportunities, and translating long-term vision into measurable results.

At Horizon Consultancy, Assem leads the firm's day-to-day operations and works closely with the Chairman to strengthen client relationships, evaluate strategic opportunities, and support the long-term development of the firm's advisory activities across the GCC region.
